Part of the activities of the World Tsunami Awareness Day Which was set up by the National Institute of Oceanography and Fisheries in cooperation with the Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission - affiliated to UNESCO under the patronage of Professor Dr. Amr Zakaria, President of the National Institute of Oceanography and Fisheries, in the presence of a distinguished group of scientists and specialists with the participation of many experts, with the aim of introducing the phenomenon and raising awareness of how to reduce Risks resulting from it, if it occurs.
