SDMU
The SDMU is a relatively new Unit, established in 2005 at the Institute's Mediterranean Branch in Alexandria.
It has the following specific functions:

Documents all reports of the Institutes projects and other activities.

Provides support services on research, science and technology.

Offers a collection of project reports, local Scientific literature such as article reviews, state-of-the art materials and publications.

Engages in several horizontial activities such as training courses and workshops.

Organizes media events such as information days and public awareness seminars.
SDMU provides the above
services at the NIOF level.
