AQUARIUM
NIOF hosts two museums at its Mediterranean and red sea branches in Alexandria and Hurghada respectively. They display excellet and uniqe collections of Egyptian Fishes and Fossils. They also display some international reference collections and materials for educational purposes. A world famous collection of vertabrate fossils is housed in these Museums, which attract the interest and attention of many school and university students, and of thousands of local and international tourists every year
Marine Aquaria
The NIOF operates two marine Aquaria in Alexandria and Hurghada. The aquaria exhibit several rare and famous fishes from the red sea and the mediterranean and some oceanic and freshwater species of fish and aquatic animals. Thousands of visitors visit these aquaria for teching and tourism purposes.
